What started out as an experiment has become an outpouring of giving! Thank you!
FCCMP received 1088 bagged lunches for our latest Brown Bag Brigade collection including 500 from Girl Scout Troop 11580. We’ve heard that another 300 are on their way — more from the Girl Scouts and from the teens from Faith Baptist Church. WOW!
We at FCCMP are so grateful to the 108 members of the Brown Bag Brigade — those of you who participated in our February and June BBB collections. Thank you for helping us fulfill our mission of working with the community to alleviate hunger. Thank you for including your children in the creation of lunch bags and in discussions of hunger and food insecurity in our midst.
We now have enough lunch bags to distribute to everyone who attends our Wednesday community meal at the Second Congregational Church in Greenfield throughout the summer.
We look forward to the next Brown Bag Brigade collection in the fall. We will keep you posted about that date. We are so grateful to you all. Thank you!
