givingtuesdaynow

FCCMP is partnered with #GivingTuesdayNow a global day of giving and unity that will take place May 5 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. We rely on your donations to continue #feedingneighbors

Here are some recent posts from us that provide great examples of how your generosity positively impacts our friends and neighbors during the pandemic:

  • Hadley’s 110 Grill helps distribute food – restaurants are providing food assistance with supplies that would have otherwise gone to waste
  • Orange Food Pantry drive-thru food pickup – the virus has created new rules of contact and engagement, and the FCCMP rose to the challenge. We have set up drive-thru food pickup at our Orange Food Pantry, and remained open and committed to serving our neighbors
  • St. Paul’s Lutheran offers food – eschewing our usual Brown Bag Brigade schedule, various donors and providers have opted to create brown bags of groceries on the fly instead, and provided bagged food for instant delivery to those in need
  • The Kindness Of Strangers -even with the smallest of gestures, the impact is still profound. We have been fortunate to receive help with food delivery, face masks, and delivery of non-food essential items, from donors, volunteers, and folks who are new to FCCMP.
  • Our Orange Food Pantry continues to receive food – even though we cannot offer our guests a wide variety of food at the moment due to our current circumstances, we can still provide them with bagged options, thanks to our continued receipt of donations and the help of the Food Bank of Western MA.
